SCAM ADMISSION

Information gotten yesterday, 13/10/2014, from the IMSU admissions unit concerning the IMSU 2014 merit admission list has made it clear that 30 of those whose names made it to the IMSU 2014/2015 merit list have been screened out by the Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Continue...
According to the information gotten from a staff of the admissions unit, the 30 students were screened out because of the wrong choice of subject combinations in writing JAMB as compared to what the courses they registered for in their post UTME Registration requires.
For instance, someone who registered and sat for English language, Geography, Economics and Biology but applied for Chemistry and got admitted under merit will be screening out by Jamb since the required causes should be Chemistry, Physics, Maths and English. This error of course/subject conflict usually results from lack of patience during Post UTME registration or from giving someone else the responsibility of doing what you should have done.
I hope none of my readers fall into this category of people though.
The fact is that the Merit Admission list must pass through the scope of JAMB yo become totally valid. The list has to go to Abuja first to verification by JAMB.
So do those of you who think it is easy for me to just walk into any office and make your name appear on the list... I'm sorry, it's not that easy. And beware of touts who will promise you to work it out, that is "RUNS" it for you at some amount of money. Most times it doesn't work.

OMOTALA ADVICE TO SON

Nollywood leading diva, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde took to Facebook on Saturday to celebrate and admonish son, 16 year-old Mathew Ekeinde Jnr, a music producer who just gain admission into a university to be careful and not let music get into his head.
Recall that Omotola’s son, who goes by stage name Captain E recently came third at an international music conference producer showcase competition in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, where he was the only African.
Displaying the certificate her son won and some pictures of them together, Omosexy wrote poetic lines to teach the budding music producer a lesson or two on fame and education.
“So, as you start this new journey in the university, we love you; believe in you, and trust you will be deluged by, in all your choices.
I say we, because, remember, you have a lot of mummies and daddies watching for you here too. Okay boy, enjoy the campus life but don’t relent on the music (they think you are greatness already) but you can still be whipped if you take a wrong step…. be confident and believe in yourself” she stated with flourish and ended her message with various hash tags like; The only one from Africa; youngest contestant, Africa’s youngest music producer, etc.
